Fishing Pole Rental on Property:
$5 for Everyone

Rental fishing equipment is available from our Riptide Bait & Tackle Shop, along with such items as, live shrimp and convenience items, including ice, food and drinks.

Our pier is located in the Halifax River about ¾ of a mile from the Ponce de Leon Inlet, where the river flows into the Atlantic Ocean.  It is an area of brackish water where saltwater and freshwater mix and is a nursery for shrimp and small baitfish.  The available fish in these waters include Snapper, Flounder, Bluefish, Shark, Sheepshead, Black Drum and many more.
